Her experience includes work on brands such as Smirnoff, Coca-Cola and ESPN. She has collected multiple awards and honors for her work, including the prestigious Art Directors Club Award and Type Directors Club Award. She is equally adept in digital, print and TV/video storytelling.

Lise Ellingsen received her Master’s degree from Vermont College of Fine Arts in early 2021. With a focus on the female position of power in nature, and how it may heal existential angst, she is using humor and pop culture. In her body of work, she expresses this search for meaning through sculpture, animation and video performance.
Her graduation project features stunning and austere landscapes of her native Norway as a setting to reflect her take on Western commercial and pop culture filtered through in influence of her Norwegian heritage. A heritage deep in ethereal imagery, stretching back to The Viking Age when Norse culture flourished.
Her bull terrier, Isis, goes with her everywhere. Named after the Egyptian goddess of female power, divine beauty and power over fate itself, Isis was also the Chief Marketing Officer of Blondes Make Better T-Shirts, and appears as an Isis the goddess character in all Ms. Ellingsen’s art project.
